My Bones From School is an amusing journey of imagination and discovery where ordinary playground sticks turn into extraordinary bones. Inspired by the gift of creativity from The Creator, this true story follows a 5-year-old adventurer who explores the world of “bones” right on the school playground. Sticks become more than just objects; they transform into the bones and structure of a body. Through curiosity and wonder, the child learns that imagination has the power to turn everyday moments into grand explorations.

At Grandma’s House / Lakay Gran is a bilingual children’s book told through the voice of a joyful grandson as he shares all the wonderful adventures he has at his grandmother’s house. Written in both English and Haitian Creole, this story celebrates family, heritage, and the adventure that lives in a grandmother’s love. This book was lovingly completed and published by Tara Adams in honor of her firstborn son, Oziel Joel Adams, with whom she began working on this story. It was their summer project—a joyful goal to join his younger brother, Eli Adams, as a fellow young author. On May 10, 2025, both boys tragically passed away in a car accident on their way to Grandma’s house for Mother’s Day weekend. Though they never made it there, their spirits live on in the laughter, love, and memory captured in these pages. Told through the playful, honest voice of a grandson, the story overflows with real-life moments—from chasing lizards in the garden to laughing over snacks with cousins. Each page reveals something special about time spent with Grandma and Grandpa, blending humor, joy, and heartfelt reflection. The story invites readers to connect with their own cherished family moments. Every page is beautifully brought to life with warm, expressive illustrations created from real photos taken at Grandma’s house that capture the energy of childhood, the comfort of home, and the deep love between grandparents and grandchildren. The visual storytelling honors both the author’s culture and the sweet memory of her sons.
